I don't know about you but, when I think about July I think red, white and blue which I don't mind telling you they are one of my favorite colors together. It is ironic though because blue or also known as navy along with white represents summer and boating to me. However, when you put red and white together it reminds me of February Valentines Day. When I think of July I think of FREEDOM and when I think of February I think of LOVE. Which brings me to how powerful FREEDOM and LOVE can be when used together.

Galatians 5:13 MSG translation says this: It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows. From everything we know about Gods Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That's an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out-in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?

Build bridges of love to the unpopular and value relationships. Who is the first person who comes to mind at your school or your job that sees themselves as a outcast? Who spends their lunch breaks eating alone or doesn't seem to have any friends. What specific thing can you do this week to bridge the gap between you and that person with a act of love and kindness? Maybe a cheerful word. The Word of God says a cheerful word picks us up. Anxiety in a mans heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. A wise person gets known for insight; gracious words add to ones reputation.

I was reading a 4-H article where Christopher Reeve was sharing to show support for the next generation of True Leaders. He said "Success is finding satisfaction in giving a little more than you take". Love is all about giving and the Freedom to be able to give.

God expects us to have good conduct in our work and business dealings. Pray that your actions shine a light on Gods word.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Amen!

Erma Bombeck once said, "There is a fine line that separates laughter and pain, comedy and tragedy, and humor and hope." I think we can all agree that there is a lot of truth in that statement. A da
