He Has Got The Whole World In His Hands
When I was a kid me and my sisters would go to Vacation Bible School when school was out for the summer and sing our little hearts out. The song that sticks out the most is the song "He has got the whole world in his hands" and we would do all of the hand motions that went with it and we would sing so loud and be so proud of ourselves cause we could do the hand motions at the same time we were singing.
I was meditating the other day and that song came back to me all these years later even the hand motions and so I started singing it in my heart and here I am several days later and I still have that song in my heart. I know the Lord has the entire world in his hands and when I think on that He fills me with so much joy and peace that I literally overflow
with hope. I then get the courage to take my hands off of those things I am grasping and put my trust in God. Therefore no more fear of the what if syndrome that tries to pop into my head. I start speaking out loud you got this Lord and I thank you for it cause I cant do it without you.
I know that there is no room in love for fear and well-formed love banishes fear. I also know that love conquers all things. We have all been captivated by the love of God as seen on the cross when He sent His beloved only son Jesus to die for us so that we may be saved.
My prayer is that we in this world live our lives in such a way that follows God's lead and stuns those around us with the way we love them.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give your peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Amen!
